Direction Statement
“…At Your Word…”
We, Adorers of the Blood of Christ,
embrace the process of transformation.
Together, we have a broader vision of our congregation,
and a strong willingness to go forward as one.
We answer to the Spirit calling us to respond with passion and courage.
We give priority to daily listening to the Word, in a spirit of adoration and discernment,
so that we are able to contemplate God’s dynamic presence in our community and ministry.
We are renewed by the fire of our charism,
and announce the power of the Blood of Christ to all we meet.
We commit ourselves to international and intercultural formation, beginning with the Congregational Novitiate.
We continue throughout life to engage in holistic ongoing formation for mission.
Our evangelical stewardship and equitable sharing of resources strengthen solidarity among us and with “our dear neighbor”.
We promote participative leadership, inviting all to place their gifts at the service of the whole; we work as partners with many others in co-responsibility for mission.
We seek to be a compassionate, reconciling presence, living in communion with the poor, the marginalized, and those who live on the periphery. With hearts attentive to the cry of the Blood, we care for our common home, and protect the life and dignity of every person.
Our simple, flexible, collegial structures free us to go forth with lightness and energy as Adorers on mission.
We call on Mary, Woman of the New Covenant and St. Maria De Mattias, gathered with all the Adorers who have gone before us, to accompany us and bless our lives, as we contribute to “that beautiful order of things which the Great Son of God came to establish in His Blood.”
