1st Mystery: The Angel Gabriel Brings the Annunciation to Mary
Mary said: “ ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.’ And the angel departed from her (Lk 1:38).
God has a plan for each and every one of us. Let us not be afraid to hear his call and to say ‘yes’ to him

May Jesus alone be in her heart, doing the divine will of this beloved Spouse, and listening to His voice, which speaks gently to those who love retreat, silence, and rest entirely in Him, living obediently like Him even unto death on the Cross
2nd Mystery: Mary Visits Her Cousin Elizabeth
“For as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the child leaped for joy within me. And blessed is she who believed that the Lord’s words would be fulfilled” (Lk 1:44–45).
This is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith. God fulfills what He has promised us!

Take courage, and have great trust in God. Let us often turn to the Holy Prayer with faith. Let us entrust ourselves to the hands of the blessed God and let us not be afraid.
3rd Mystery: Jesus is born in Bethlehem
Mary gave birth to her firstborn son, wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. (Lk 2:7).
The Word of God took on our flesh to share fully in our human condition. Let us follow the example of Him, our Master!

Let us unite ourselves with Jesus in the Cave of Bethlehem. In that beloved solitude, oh, how many beautiful lessons we will learn for our sanctification: courage, silence, and prayer.
4th Mystery: Jesus Is Presented in the Temple
“Now, Lord, let your servant depart in peace according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light to enlighten the nations and the glory of your people Israel” (Lk 2:29–32).
God comes to meet us as Savior: He brings His light, His peace, and His salvation to everyone, including us.

I felt as if I were abandoned in safe arms… and my heart swelled with certain hope, wholly resting in God the Savior, without losing the peace of my heart. I stood still with my hands and arms outstretched, gazing at the Lord: My Jesus, I always want to hope in You, who are my Savior.
5th Mystery: Jesus Is Lost and Found in the Temple
Believing him to be with the caravan, they traveled for a day, and then began to look for him among their relatives and acquaintances; not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem to search for him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. When they saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you done this to us? Look, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” (Lc 2:44–48).
God hides Himself and invites us to seek Him. He is the God of surprises, and every new encounter reveals something new about Him to us!

I want to be with Jesus, and I want it with all my heart. I want to love Him always, always—He is my Good. All day long I yearn to find Jesus: I seek Him through Our Lady, I seek Him through our Father of Bufalo, I seek Him throughout all of Paradise, and I will not rest until I have found Him. I trust in His word, and I hope.
