Father, to YOU I lift up my soul.
In the chalice of my heart I receive
YOUR Word—made flesh in Jesus Christ,
made flesh in the body and blood of YOUR Son,
which fills me with new life. With a peace that
the world cannot give. Thus, I allow myself to be shaped
by YOU—I myself become a chalice and pass on
Your peace, Your joy, Your love, Your light.
Christ, my hope, You are with me!
And do not forsake me! Wisdom of the
Word, Mercy of the chalice,
envelop me
and this
world.
Come,
O Lord,
make all things new!
